Our ceramic pieces are made from secondary clay, which contains plant bark and husk, seeds, and inorganic materials, so the shade can vary slightly from red to brown. Additionally, as the material is molded, glazed, and loaded into the kiln, minor imperfections can occur, like pin holes from the firing process, small chips and cracks, and marks or inconsistencies in the paint due to running glaze. If the kiln is wood-fired, there may be more variation in the texture and color given the less predictable nature of fire and the presence of ash; gas-fired kilns, on the other hand, tend to have a little more control over the temperature, resulting in a more evenly fired piece. Ultimately, we welcome these types of variation because they offer each one of our pieces a stunning, one-of-a-kind look.
In-stock orders are processed within 3–5 business days and shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. A physical street address is required; we cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
Eligible regularly priced merchandise may be returned within 14 calendar days of purchase. Items must be unused, unwashed, undamaged, and returned with their original tags and proof of purchase. Discounted merchandise and holiday items are final sale. Customers are responsible for return shipping, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
